Boys Director Matt Bond
Matt Bond played attack at the Johns Hopkins University from '91-'95 during which time the Blue Jays advanced to the NCAA Final Four 3 times. His brother Adam was also an attackman at Hopkins from '94-'96 and Washington College from '96-'97 while his father Rick was an All-American at UMBC (Class of 1970) and inducted into the USA Lacrosse Florida Chapter Hall of Fame in 2019. All three Bonds have been inducted into the Pine Crest School (FL) Athletic Hall of Fame as student-athletes and coach. Matt has coached for 30 years with posts at Timperley Lacrosse Club (Manchester, England), Wootton HS (MD), New Canaan HS (CT), Corona del Mar HS (CA), and Menlo-Atherton HS (CA). Since 2011, Matt has been the offensive coordinator at Menlo-Atherton, Grizzlies Boys Director, and SixFifty Lacrosse Director. He has served as the San Francisco Regional Director for ADVNC Lacrosse since 2018. He continues to be heavily involved in the growth of the game in Costa Rica and has led high school teams on annual lacrosse service trips since 2012. Matt's wife of 23 years Katie is a doctor of clinical psychology in private practice specializing in child and adolescent development. They have a 16 year old son who played for 9 years in the Grizzlies program.
